Our vision is that every child would encounter God in a real way and become a Kingdom-minded follower of Jesus.

At Saints’ Hill we desire to create a welcoming space for kids to come and encounter Jesus. We believe in making community in our kids ministry as well as teaching them truths from Scripture that will transform them into kingdom minded Christ followers. We start every Sunday morning with a time of fun and play. This gives the kids an opportunity to create and have fun. After, we move into a more structured time, normally including a lesson from the Bible, and an activity to solidify truth from what we just talked about.

We split kids 0-10 years old into 5 different classrooms based on age ranges, and each classroom has their own structure to see the vision come to life.

For all classes, drop off is at 10:00 and pick up is at 12:00.

  • We provided allergy-safe snacks for everybody in each classroom. Please let us know if your child has an allergy we should be aware of!

  • If your child is having a difficult time entering the classroom, feel free to hang out with them in the classroom for up to 10 minutes while partnering with a volunteer working to get a child comfortable, with the goal of then leaving the classroom.

    In this situation, we are also eager to point you toward the Family Room - a space setup for families to use for a variety of needs. Our Family Room is located at the entrance of the Kids Area.

  • We use a curriculum that goes through the whole Bible in a year. In January, we begin teaching with the beginning of it all: Genesis 1. When we get around to November we wrap up with Revelation, pointing to Christ as our ultimate hope and salvation. We pause our Bible in a Year curriculum in the Spring for a 3-week Easter focus, and again in December for a 4-week Advent focus. Our teaching time is designed to equip kids with biblical knowledge and create spaces for them to learn and grow as followers of Jesus.

    We also focus on a different Saints’ Hill Core Value each month. We do this by practicing a declaration and memory verse that corresponds to each value. We memorize Scripture because it is one of the many ways kids can build a strong biblical foundation, and we believe God’s Word is something to be experienced, not just taught. We choose to declare what is true about us and what is true about God because it aligns our hearts with the reality of God and His Kingdom.
